the 30 competitions in which over 5,000 participants take part, they
range from piano and banjo solo playing to the marching bands events,
in which over 1000 enthusiastic contestants are involved. The

of these competitions are adjudicated upon by experts in the relevant
areas, all entailing an enormous amount of organisation and
co-ordination. The locations of the different venues for the
competions are to be found in the Official Programme, which will be on
sale for the week before the Fleadh week-end itself.
